 | Mabel Jewel Taylor, 93 of El Dorado, passed away December 8, 2014, at her residence. She was born February 19, 1921, to James H. and Mary Elizabeth Porter Lawrence in El Dorado, AR.
She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church and previously worked as a clerk for Morris & Company and ward clerk for the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Vernon Taylor; son, John Vernon Taylor, Sr.; and grandson, John Vernon Taylor, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Mellinger (Tommy) and Betty Bubblis (Frank) both of El Dorado; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and nine great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014, at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Young's Chapel with Bro. Tommy Kimball and Kay Ruddell officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
