Jeanie Ellen Lewis Beavert, age 66 of Nashville, passed away, Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Nashville. She was born June 30, 1943 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Elmer and Sally Barker Lewis.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Sunset Church of Christ. Jeanie loved her dogs, she also enjoyed playing tennis and bridge with her friends. She was a frequent visitor to the local nursing homes, where she enjoyed visiting with the elderly. Vacation Bible School could not make it without her cookies for the kids. Her 67 house plants were carefully taken care of by her , with some being over 40 years old. She was a fantastic cook, having a meal ready for Jack each evening he came home. She appreciated music and loved dancing. Most of all she loved her entire family, especially going on walks with her mate and closest friend Jack. Freckles always came along to.

Jeanie had some very special sayings, they include; She loved her dogs so much you would her commonly say woof-woof. Summer doesn’t count. I’ll have that done in 38 seconds. And, only clean the house when it rains.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jack Beavert of Nashville 1 daughter, Ellen Clark of Hot Springs, Ar. 1 son, William Lewis Brown of Hot Springs, Ar. 2 step-daughters, Renee Caldwell of Arkadelphia, Ar. Amy Worthington of Nashville 1 step-son, Dave Beavert of Nashville 1 Brother, Dr. Jim Lewis of Dumas, Ar. 2 granddaughters, Laken Clark of Hot Springs, and Shelby Brown of Sherwood, Ar. Step-Grandchildren, Zach walls of Murfreesboro, Ar., Heather Bostic of Nashville, Ben Worthington of Nashville, and Margaret Ann Worthington of Nashville. A large host of other family and friends.

Grave side services will be Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 3:30 pm. at Pleasant Home Cemetery in Murfreesboro with David Williams officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children’s Home.
