None of you probably ever thought John Ralston would spend his golden working years as a licensed funeral director....well...it happened. The Lord put me in this business some eight years ago after getting caught up in small town politics and these past eight years have been the most enjoyable of my life.

I preface my comments with that to say to all.....it does hurt to loose Jeanie and we all hurt because of her passing. We feel for Jackie. John Long said it best that as we have all gone our separate ways....many of us have continued to stay close and for those in the immediate area...it was a chance to be with Jack and Jeanie back in October.

Those days at EHS....what great days they were and what fond memories we all have. I have waited on Eddie Adams and the passing of his father, Joanna Pinson and the passing of her mother, Sharon Bernard and the passing of Gerald, Kay Weldon and the passing of her father and the list goes on. It seems almost every month or so I am touched by the loss of a loved one or member of their family from our high school days. This is the year we all turn 67. Unfortunately for Jackie and all of us.....Sunday was Jeanie's time and the out-pouring of comments for her and her family is a tribute to the closeness we have for one another. We are going to miss Jeanie as we are Patsy Huey and the others of our class who have gone on. The Lord willing and we each do our part to be ready, we will not only have our 50th class reunion next year.....but some day, we will all be a part of the greatest reunion of all.

We love you Jeanie!!!!!!
