Lillian “Dutch” Thibault, 81, of Hot Springs, AR, passed away August 8th, 2023, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR, with family by her side. She was born to the late Dr. Frank Thibault and Lillian Scott Thibault on February 5th, 1942, in Joplin, MO.
Dutch loved her family and friends. She never met a stranger. She loved to talk and tell stories about her younger years spent at Calion Lake and when she had her 1957 pink convertible. She was the family calendar. She remembered everyone’s birthday and anniversary. Her favorite color was red, and she loved the Bee Gees.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jackie Childs; Siblings Conway Thibault and Mary Lucy Thibault; sister-in-law, Shannon Thibault; nephew Andrew (EAT) Thibault; and her many fur babies over the years.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Pepper Jr.; daughter, Charlotte “Charlie” Selmon (Roger); her three granddaughters whom she liked to call Moe, Larry, and Curly… Jessica Childs (Michael), Brittany Mathews, and Courtney Childs (Kevin); four great grandchildren, Jordan Cameron, Alden Mathews, Nora and Brooklynn Lindsey; siblings Dr. Frank G Thibault (Ashley), Dorothy Thibault; and Jeptha Thibault (Cherry); and her nieces and nephews.
Abiding with her wishes, Dutch will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
