Louise was born on January 25, 1943, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Perry Andrew Long, Sr. and Nannie Lola Morrison Long Andrews and passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Growing up in El Dorado, AR, she was the eldest of six children born to the couple. After graduating from El Dorado High School in 1961 and attending Centenary College, Louise began working at Murphy Oil as a draftsman. She built her career with jobs at Texaco and General Motors until starting her own company which was affiliated with the oil and gas industry in Shreveport. After deciding to accept several out-of-state jobs which included project manager and drafting for construction projects, she took a position at Entergy Power Station in El Dorado. Her lifelong dream was to own a "Junktique" shop, and she did that (Sunset House) just off the square in El Dorado. She finally retired and moved to Farmerville to be near her brothers and sisters. Throughout her life, she created many beautiful paintings and drawings which are treasured by her family.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael Keith Long, brother James Curtis Long, and niece Tiffany Elise Long.

Mrs. Johnson will be missed by her loving family consisting of her sons Dwayne Powell (Julia) of Las Vegas, NV, Brant Johnson (Maggie) of Las Vegas, NV, and Lance Johnson of Tyler, TX; grandchildren Dillon Powell, Justin Powell, Aidan Powell, Chloe Hoffman, Seth Wyatt, Arthur Johnson, Archer Johnson, and Katerina Johnson; brother Andy Long (LaJo), sisters Ruthie Nolan (Curry) and Nancy Brantley; sisters- in-law Sheila Long, Kim Long, and Angie Hooper; and numerous nieces, nephews, greats, and great-greats.

Her family will serve as pallbearers.

05/01/2013 New address, moved to Farmerville LA

01/02/09 I relocated to Clinton, MS Thanksgiving weekend. I live in a "mother-in-law" house across the carport from my son Brant and daughter-in-law Maggie. Right next door to Dahlia (2) and Seth (10).
Dahlia calls me "Nana-weezie" and is so much joy to me. The twins, boy and a girl are on the way and their way and the ultra sound pictures finally look like babies more than peanuts.

I am working in Vicksburg on a construction job and really like it. I miss my house and shop in El Dorado but seeing the kids everyday makes up for the space. I am living in a tiny house.

I hope everyone has a wonderful year.
