Clarice Rose Hinds Waterston, 72, of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Born January 6, 1938, in El Dorado to Harold Benjamin Hinds and Pauline Rose LaRobadiere Hinds, she was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and an agent for Multistate Insurance Company. Clarice was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and the rock of the family, not to mention a fantastic cook.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra L. Floyd and husband David of El Dorado and Terrie Jan Mills and husband John of Fayetteville; one sister, Suzanne Wanvig of Nashville, TN; a sister-in-law, Bennie Jan Cason and husband John; three grandchildren, Amanda Eve Scott, Dennis Hicks and Deshawnna Lancaster; two great-grandchildren, Trevor A. Scott and Brandon Scott; four nephews, Robert David and Dicky LaRobadiere and Keech and Ragan Rainwater; one niece Roseanne Smith; and a cousin, Bob Sandlin.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30pm Sunday, February 14, 2010, in Young’s Chapel with Father Gregory Pilcher, OSB, officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be from 4-6pm Saturday at the funeral home.
