Lera Dunford Chadwick, 93, of Biscoe, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Des Arc Nursing and Rehab in Des Arc.

The daughter of Phillip Robert Parker and Mary Alice (Moorehouse) Dunford, she was born Dec. 28, 1914, in Grady, Okla.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Chadwick; and her twin sister, Vera Hatcher.


Survivors include two sons, Dennis Chadwick and his wife, Betty Jean, and David Chadwick and his wife, Kathy; four grandchildren, David Chadwick Jr., Chemane Holloway, Wade Chadwick, and Chanda Weber; six great-grandchildren, Devin Chadwick, Reece Chadwick, Alexandria Byars, Drake Holloway, Craig Chadwick, and Sydney Chadwick.


A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado under the direction of Garth Funeral Home of Des Arc. The Rev. Maxie Longing officiated.
