Graveside services for Mrs. Alice Ann Hines Norman, age 75 of Downsville, will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 29, 2018 at Little Hope Cemetery in Castor, LA with Rev. Dwayne Monk officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Ann was born on June 27, 1943 and went to be with her Lord and Savior and her husband, Jerry, on her birthday, June 27, 2018.  She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1961.  Ann was a stay at home mom to her 5 children for many loving years and enjoyed volunteering at the schools her children attended.  She was a pastor’s wife and followed him wherever the Lord led them.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Levon Norman and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. “Skeet” Hines.  She is survived by her daughters: Diona Norman Phillips and husband Glenn, Kira Norman, and Chanda Norman; sons: Jerry Norman and Jack Norman and wife Kiri; grandchildren: Danielle Phillips, Dusty Phillips and wife Tory, Damien Norman, Jerry “Trey” Norman III, Jaelynn Norman Cabrera, Madysyn Norman and Peyton Norman.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Greg Tubre and his nurse Sara Kohler at Green Clinic for all their hard work in caring for their mother and grandmother.  Also, special thanks to Premier Hospice for the wonderful care they gave her at the end.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. Friday, June 29, 2018    3:00 PM  Little Hope Cemetery Castor, Louisiana
