November 21, 1943 – May 10, 2014 Perrin L Jones, Sr. who loved the Lord went to be with Him on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Born November 21, 1943 in El Dorado, AR he was the son of DB and Betty Perrin Jones. Mr. Jones was a graduate of LA Tech and a member of West Side Baptist Church. He had been a Sunday School Teacher of youth and adults for over fifty years and had also been a Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death along with his parents was a sister, Nancy Taylor. Survivors include his wife of almost 53 years, Jo Ann Jones, a son, Dr. Perrin Lane Jones, Jr. and wife Kerry of Collierville, TN and a daughter, Cynthia Kinel and husband Steve of Shreveport, LA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Emily Kinel, Ryan Kinel, Perrin Jones, III, Adam Jones, Joshua Jones and Caroline Jones. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at West Side Baptist Church with Dr. Glen Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday evening at Young's. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Salvation Army, 415 S.
