September 2, 1943 - January 28,1987 William Edwin Tucker, 43, of 1009 S Magnolia Drive, died Wednesday, January 28, 1987 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born September 2, 1943, in El Dorado, the son of Floyd Ambers and Harriet Kathleen Graves Tucker. He was a retired operator for Monsanto Chemical Co., a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, and a graduate of Southern State University. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Nash Tucker of El Dorado; one son, William Jason Tucker of El Dorado; his mother, Mrs. Kathleen Tucker Grunden of El Dorado; two brothers, L. Dan Tucker of Dallas, TX, and Floyd Ervin Tucker of El Dorado. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Kimball and Lawrence Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery under direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. The family will be at 1009 S. Magnolia Drive.
