Biography:

Since high school, I have worked for Charles in the various businesses he has managed or owned. I began as office help when he managed several discount stores.  We then started King's Sporting World where I was the bookkeeper and part time help for 18 years.  Though part time turned to full time if a turkey gobbled, a buck snorted or a fish flounced.  Charles closed the store in 1990 and started a general construction company under the name of Rose Contractor's.  I worked as full time office manager for 16 years until Charles semi-retired.  He is still an independent oil producer, but I can now say I am retired.  I only work a few hours a month keeping the books for the oil production.  Would you believe after all this togetherness we celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary in June 2011?

I enjoyed teaching for many years in the preschool Sunday school department at my church.  I am still active with the children's department and currently a 4th grade leader in our AWANA program.

Best of all, I take every opportunity to be with and enjoy our grandkids.
