Cherrill Rose Linder McCormack, 54, of Garland, TX and formerly of El Dorado, died Monday, March 17, 1997 in a Dallas, TX hospital.

Born January 3, 1943, in El Dorado, she was the daughter of John Charles Linder and Rosemary Chinn Coleman. She was the owner and operator of Elegant Wedding Services and was the director of  catering at Best Western in Garland.

She was a member of Marrable Hill Baptist Church.  She was a graduate of El Dorado High School and Arkansas Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.  She was preceded in death by a brother, John Charles Linder, Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Mark McCormack of Louisville, TX and Robert McCormack of Gastonia, NC; two daughters, Lisa Puttcamp of Allen, TX, and Michelle McCormack of Garland; her mother and stepfather, Rosemary and William L. Coleman of Houston, TX; a sister, Susan Linder-Linsley of Dallas; two brothers, Thomas Linder of Tyler, TX and William Linder of Houston; four stepsisters, Cathy Pietch of Germany, Cindy Bergman of Houston, and Caryn Crull and Carol Tisdale, both of Austin, TX; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rumph-Owers Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ed Glover and Danny Roberts officiating.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rumph-Owers Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Marrable Hill Baptist church.  The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight for visitation.
