Comments:
NOVEMBER 22, 1943 – FEBRUARY 3, 2019 Donna Carle, 75, passed peacefully early in the morning on February 3, 2019, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home after a long battle with vascular dementia. She was born November 22, 1943, in El Dorado, AR to Nathaniel Clyde and Eradelle Chandler Bush. Donna graduated from El Dorado High School in 1961 and from Southern Arkansas University in 1965 with a BSE. Donna lived a life of service, working as a teacher and at the Arkansas Department of Human Services as fraud investigator, case manager, and rehab counselor. Donna volunteered much of her extra time to her beloved church and other organizations. Her family knows she was welcomed into heaven with the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" She will be remembered as a gracious, loving, generous, intelligent, accomplished, determined, hard-working, Christian woman. Donna dearly loved her children and family. Donna wrote 7/10/09 I will make every effort to attend the fall reunion. Retired from Arkansas Dept of Heath & Human Services and Arkansas Teachers Retirement. I am moving Mother's Day back home to El Dorado. I have been in Fayetteville for almost 2 yrs. Fayetteville is a very nice place to live, but I would have enjoyed it a bit more, when younger. My daughter and her husband will be relocating in August and I had told when I moved up here, that I would help out with my little grandson, (who was newborn at that time) untill my son-in-law completed his MFA. He receives it today. I look forward to being back home.

They waited until age 29 – my son-in-law is the new Festival Director in El Dorado, my daughter is an Anesthetist. I lost my youngest daughter Jessica in 2006 at age 25. She was my greatest teacher. She was born in 1980 with Down’s Syndrome & a hole in her heart. We were able to provide heart surgery for her at age 13 months. She lived a happy life until developing acute leukemia in 2006. She graduated from EHS in 2000 (Special Needs Diploma). She never met a stranger and loved everybody. I miss her. Life has its ups and downs, but can be quite wonderful. I sincerely hope to see all of you at our class reunion. Imagine 50 years. The new high school is beautiful.
