January 31, 1943 – October 14, 2020 Judy Jones Gresham, 77, of Springdale, peacefully went to heaven early Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020. She was born January 31, 1943, in Tyler, Texas, to Crawford and Mattie Jane Jennings Jones. Judy’s bigger than life personality has touched many lives, young and old. She and “Gresh” married 56 years ago in El Dorado, Arkansas. In 1973 the couple relocated to Springdale and joined Cross Church, formally First Baptist Church of Springdale. Judy volunteered her time & inspiration as a Vacation Bible School teacher, foster parent, warehouse organizer at the Compassion Center, and a volunteer for the NWMC Auxiliary. Judy spent countless hours enjoying canoeing, gardening, painting, singing in the church choir, water skiing, snow skiing, camping with friends and family, and playing Pokeno. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph “Gresh” Gresham; one daughter, Shauna Gresham; two sons, Brandon Shane Gresham and Brandon Smith, both of St. John USVI; 2 granddaughters, Brooklyn Tess Davis Farmer of Logan, and Ashley Davis Goodyear of Bentonville; and five great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by two sisters, Olive Jones Sever and Patty Jones Turner; and one brother, Crawford Hugh Jones. An informal Celebration of Life memorial will be in Har-Ber Meadows Neighborhood Sunday, October 18th 6554 Apple Shed Ave. Drop in 1pm-3pm. Due to limited parking, please park at Washington Regional HarBer Family Clinic: 1813 Founders Park Dr. Family and friends are invited to drop by for fellowship and share memories!
