  Luther Miller Young, Jr. “Sonny” passed away on June 6, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1943, in Camden, AR to Luther Miller and Floy Elaine Davis Young. Luther was the most loving and sweet person. A kind father who would drop everything to help someone in need. He lived his life to the fullest. He worked for NCR then Rainer Office Machines selling point of sale registers for forty plus years. He was a member of East Main Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. Luther owned and trained Tennessee Walking Horses. He was also a passionate enthusiast of classic cars.
Luther was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Miller Young, Sr. and Floy Elaine Davis Young. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Samantha Sanders and her husband, Mitchel of El Dorado, AR; his son, Chadd Young and his wife, Melissa of New Site, MS; four grandchildren, Sophia Sanders, Scarlet Sanders, Cooper Sanders, and Lane Young; a dear friend, Debbye Crain; sister, Becky Murphy and husband, Mike of El Dorado, AR; two nephews, Scott Murphy and Brett Murphy; and a host of family and friends.
 A memorial service will be held at the East Faulkner Church of Christ 930 East Faulkner Street in El Dorado, AR at 11:00AM on June 14, 2025. The family has asked that all flowers be delivered to the church and have the florist contact Scott Johnson at 806-224-3277 to arrange delivery.
