May 1, 1942 - October 15, 2019 Ronnie Bates McMahan, 77, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born May 1, 1942 to Andy Bryant and Charlotte Marine McMahan in El Dorado, AR. He was the owner and operator of McMahan Roofing and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Ronnie enjoyed hunting at the Wesson Deer Camp. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife of 55 years, Barbara Annette Hay McMahan; brother, Stanley McMahan; and sister, Sue Newman. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Bryant McMahan and wife Dewanna of El Dorado; grandchildren, James McMahan, Marshall McMahan both of El Dorado; Heath Arnold (Amanda), Jason Arnold (Aimee) both of Smackover; and great grandchildren, Jewel, Slade and Ty Arnold of Smackover. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Young's. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, at Young's Chapel with Rev. Steve Pelz officiating. Burial will follow at Burns Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
