Oh, my, what to say.  I married on October 21st after graduation so this is also my 50th wedding anniversary.

Jimmy was still in the Army so we lived near Ft. Hood, Texas until his discharge.  After college we moved back to Texas to coach high school football and teach.  We returned to Arkansas where he was head coach at Bearden and Camden-Fairview (when it was just Fairview). 
At one point along the way, we suffered a “temporary loss of sanity” and bought a convenience store w/deli and Laundromat.  It didn’t take long to figure out it wasn’t the life for us.  So, it was back to Texas to coach and teach and finally retire in Livingston on the lake.  I always worked in the school system so I could have the same schedule as Jimmy and our daughter.

Michelle was finally married in July 2010 just after her 40th birthday.  She wanted to get it right the first time and she did.  We have an awesome son-in-law and his two daughters.  She teaches junior high ELA and owns and operates her own dance studio where I am one of her tap students. Sean is in broadcasting and a radio personality for KYKS 105.1 in Lufkin.

Jimmy and I have been blessed with good health, a wonderful daughter and great families.  You can’t ask for anything more.

“Hats off” to everyone who worked so hard to make this reunion a reality.  I don’t know of any other class that has a group of people so dedicated to keeping us informed and in touch. Thank you.
