His sharp intellect and profound compassion left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Ray graduated from El Dorado High School and Henderson State Teachers College, where he studied physics and math. Biography:
After graduation from EHS, I attended Henderson State College and received a physics degree in 1965. I then worked a year for International Harvester prior to spending four years as a naval officer. After the navy, I joined Johnson & Johnson and spent twenty-four years with four of their companies and on the board of two (Ethicon and Ethicon Endo-Surgery). I took an early retirement, and have spent the last sixteen years consulting and investing in medical device startup companies. At the end of the second year of college, Gwen Gunn (Strong High School) and I were married and have two daughters. We reside in Issaquah, Washington just outside of Seattle
