Enjoy travelling with and without our fifth wheel.  After putting husband thru Engineering School, his jobs have required us to live in 8 states, several cities, and 2 foreign countries, all of which have enabled me to grow and make many new friends from all walks of life.

Do you know your best and least favorite places to live?  I remember mine well.  Life has been an education within itself!

Due to Mrs. Gillis, I love history, and try to pass it on to the younger generation.  It was from her I learned the definition of “current event.”

My first career was in the legal field as a secretary. In November 1963 when I was working for an attorney in downtown Dallas, TX, I viewed the parade of JFK before he was assassinated. Benny and I got engaged that night, and married on February 8, 1964.  After completing his B.S., I later earned mine at the Univ. of Houston; and M.S. at Northeast Louisiana Univ.  Prior to an assignment in Williamsburg, VA, we lived in New Zealand, and en route home we travelled around the entire world.

I presently sell LIFE magazines from bygone years (which seem like only yesterday).   Most persons like to have the LIFE with their birthday on the cover (if only for a keepsake).  I now own the entire collection of LIFE magazines.  Each one is filled with history.  LIFE is an extremely good conversation piece for any occasion.  I have met many talented persons through this hobby.
