Biography:
I attended University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and graduated in 1966 with BSME (mechanical engineering). I worked for Monsanto in El Dorado until the fall of 1967. I then went to work for IBM as a Systems Engineer in Little Rock. Uncle Sam wanted some of my time, so I went to US Navy Officer Candidate School in May 1969 and was commissioned in the Fall. I attended Combat Information Officer and Air Intercept Controller school in Glynco, GA and served 3 years on the USS William H. Standley DLG-32 as a line officer (CICO). We made cruises to Vietnam and to the Mediterranean and circumnavigated the globe. I returned to IBM in fall of 1972 in Fayetteville. In fall of 1979 I started a data processing consulting firm and have been doing that for last 32 years. I married in 1974 and divorced in 1986. In 1990, I married Tammy, the love of my life. We have 5 children, 4 girls and a boy. Jacob is a Junior in High School. We have 4 grandchildren, 3 boys and a girl. I am still working and loving it. It was nice to find something I loved to do and get paid for doing it. I ride a bicycle and go to the gym twice a week for exercise, autocross and do track days in my 1997 Mazda Miata for fun. Tammy and I love just to cruise around "top down" on weekends. I thank God everyday that we are healthy and enjoy the blessings we have been given.
