September 11, 1942 - October 11, 2013 Services are pending on Mr. Richard Savage, 71, of Marshall, Texas. Mr. Savage passed away Saturday, October 11, 2013 in Marshall. Richard Savage was born on September 11, 1942 in Pasadena, Texas to Bertrand Savage and Mary Lee Parrish Savage. He graduated from high school in El Dorado, Arkansas and college at ETBU in Marshall. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service as a Tech Sgt. After retirement from the Air Force he worked as a truck driver for Crete Carrier for ten years. He married Judith Ulmer on December 12, 1986 in Marshall, Texas. He is survived by his wife Judith Savage, mother Mary Lee Savage, both of Marshall, three step-daughters Linda Savage of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Tracey Mortensen of Valley View, OH, and Lou Ann Medick of Wheaton, IL, a step-son Michael Galloway of Geneva, OH. Also surviving Mr. Savage are a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

20 yrs in USAF Retired, graduated East Texas Baptist University 12/85 (only took 24 years) Worked for Terminix three or so years, several other odd jobs, drove truck for J B Hunt and Crete for about three and forced to retire again 2005 after a mild stroke.

(only took 24 years) Worked for Terminix three or so years, several other odd jobs, drove truck for J B Hunt and Crete for about three and forced to retire again 2005 after a mild stroke. Update Sept 2011: Married 12/12/1986 to Judith (Judy) Savage. Five (step) children from Florida to Ohio to California. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren as of 9/2011. Drove OTR truck 1995-2005. A stroke ended driving career, retired again. Aorta and bi-femoral bypass in 2010, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and chemotherapy 2010/2011 and now in remission. Other health issues continue but we are getting old. Don't mind the kids getting old but the grandkids getting old "Just ain't right". God, guns and guts. TEA Party American.
