Comments:
03/23/10 - I have been retired from a job that I loved since 2001. Had a blast doing it. Have many pets all my life, all sent by God. Love to grow roses and clematis. Greatest life challenge, control the deer and armadillo. So far, my "fairies" hangings of tulle net the job for the deer. They don't like the movement.

Biography:
Attended LSU, earned my BS & MS degree-taught school at Istrouma Jr. High before marrying & moving to New Orleans where I lived for 34 years. Am a past Pres. of the New Orleans Rose Society and now a member of our local gardening club. Have cared for rescued animals all of my life and currently love 6 cats and 3 dogs. We lost our home in Katrina & was blessed with a country life. I keep it simple. Love to swim in our beautiful State Park Pool almost every day of the summer & work in our Union Parish Library Garden. Enjoy singing in both the Catholic and Methodist Church choirs and enjoy rousing about with my Red Hat friends.
