Biography:

Since high school I was a flight attendant with American Airlines, lived in New York City, transferred back to Dallas in 1965 ( been here ever since).

I married Jan Calhoon (EHS '57) in 1969 after he finished dental school at Baylor in Dallas, (been together ever since).  I continued to fly until after our first son, Chris,(born 1972) was a year old.  Our second son, Patrick, was born in 1976.  Then I was a stay-at-home mom for a while.  In 1991 I went back to American and worked at the flight academy doing orientations for new hire pilots and flight attendants as well as working in Jan's dental office.(been there ever since....I won't let him retire)  After 9-11 there were no more new hires, so I was through at American Airlines.
  
Chris graduated from North Texas University and now lives in downtown Dallas and works as a producer with an advertising agency. (He's our playboy).  Patrick graduated from Stephen F. Austin University and Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.  He is an attorney (and surfer) in San Diego and he and his wife, Alicia,(who is an architect) live in La Jolla with their two children.

Our grandson, Addison, is two and a half and our granddaughter, Averly, is nine months old.  Most of our travelling consists of trips to California to see them.

Presently, I am Jan's office manager and assistant.  He sees patients three or three and a half days a week.  We are not ready for a retirement village or to start clipping coupons for groceries so we will probably work until he falls off the stool.
