She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age.  She was a paraprofessional in in the Ouachita Parish school system for many years and owned a paint and woodworking business.  The joint Venture.

Pam was blessed with a large and loving family.  She married her best friend.  James ‘Jim’ E. Gray on May  16, 1975 in El Dorado,  Pam and Jim were inseparable. Whether it be fishing, playing cards, working in the shop or chasing the grandkids.  When you saw one, you saw the other.  They also enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends.

Pam was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and Mamaw to all.  She was kind, compassionate and giving Christian who loved her church, North Monroe Baptist. Pam (with the help of Jim) taught a married couples class for over 25 years.  They spent a lifetime in the Children’s ministry and lead the children’s choir for years. She was the Proverbs 31 woman.

She never met a stranger and was a good neighbor and friend to all.  She enjoyed rocking Grandbabies, hosting others and playing Pokena. Completing puzzles, decorating for the holidays,

Singing and playing the piano.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, CF and Pauline Gray. Her sister Madrey Ann Carelock, Kevin Cupit and great grandson, Case Courson.

Pam is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim Gray.  Children Shea Smalling (Alex).  Blake Sheby (Olivia).  Terease Brown (John) Jeffrey Gray (Libby). Kelye Cupit, Suzanne Hopkins (Erich).  She is survived by a host of grandchildren and greatgrand children. Brad, Ashton Courson (Brandon)  Tanner Wyatt. Sydney & Cassidy, Reed Smalling. She is survived by her sister Melanie Girard(Pat)  Jimmy & Carolyn Goldman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Great job on the web site and thanks you for all the hard work you guys did. I promise to a better job of staying in touch and making the future meetings. Sorry I missed the last one.
