Mr. Long was born Oct. 31, 1942, in El Dorado, a son of Margaret Jo Brasher Long and the late James Long. He passed away March 31, 2010, in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Long Grigson. Larry never met a stranger. He was the most giving, loving, awesome husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and friend. He was always ready and willing to help a friend in need, most of all he loved Jesus with all his heart and lived it every day. He lived his life every day as if it was the last. His love for his family and God was first. His other love was his beautiful black trike and his reproduction ’57 Chevy trailer that he and Annette traveled the United States on. He loved a good joke and was an ace prankster. He will be greatly missed.
