Wallace S Britt III, 53, of El Dorado, died Thursday, November 7, 1996 in a local nursing home.
Born August 26, 1943 in Lubbock, TX, he was the son of Wallace Smead and Mary Alice Green Britt, Sr. A long time resident of El Dorado, he was a self-employed photographer. He was the owner of Wallace Britt Studio in El Dorado and a member of the Arkansas Professional Photographers Association and First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca E. Crawford of El Dorado, a son Russell Wallace Britt of El Dorado; his mother, Mary Alice Green Britt of El Dorado; three sisters, Carolyn Stanford and Angela Hooks both of Smackover; and Mary Anne Montgomery of Duncanville, TX and four brothers, Tim Britt of Pine Bluff, Bill Britt of Camden and John David and Chris Britt, both of El Dorado.
Graveside service is at 11 a.m. Thursday in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Rumph-Owers Funeral Home.
The family will be at 510 E. 9th in Smackover. Visitation will be after the service until 4 p.m. Thursday in Smackover. |
