Donald M. Freeman, 55, of North Hills, CA, died Thursday, August 19, 1998 at Motion Picture Television Fund Hospital in Woodland Hills, CA, after a lengthy illness.
Born October 1, 1943, in Oakland, CA, he was the son of Guy R. and Lola Leoma Pitts Freeman.
He was a graduate of El Dorado High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA. He was in the El Toro Marine Band while stationed with the U.S. Marines in El Toro, CA. He was retired from CBS Studios. He was a member of the Granada Hills Community Church, where he was active in the music department and a Sunday School Teacher.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Thomas A. Freeman.
Survivors include is wife, Suzanne Alberto Freeman of North Hills; his father, Guy R. Freeman of El Dorado; his step mother Mary Freeman of El Dorado; a daughter, Jennifer Freeman Engel of Castaic, CA; a brother Howard Freeman of Russellville; a sister, Gloria Freeman Ward of Lawson; and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, CA. |
